Ensuring 24/7 operation of election software systems
With only 5 days left until the elections for the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, Viettel Solutions is ready to maintain 24/7 duty to ensure the election software system operates securely, stably, and smoothly nationwide.
Recently, at the National Assembly House, the Office of the National Election Council, in coordination with the National Assembly Office, organized an online conference connecting 34 locations across provinces and cities to provide training on the election information management software system in preparation for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
The conference was chaired by Ms. Ta Thi Yen, Deputy Chairwoman of the Committee for Deputy Affairs and Standing Deputy Chief of the Office of the National Election Council, and Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Chief of the National Assembly Office.
The conference aimed to standardize the nationwide deployment of the software system, helping localities fully understand procedures for data updates, progress monitoring, and the compilation of election reports.
The application of information technology in election management not only enhances the efficiency of data administration but also ensures rapid and accurate reporting, while contributing to greater transparency throughout the entire election process.
At the conference, participants were guided on key operational procedures, including updating data before election day, reporting progress, monitoring election developments, and updating data on election day.
Technical experts also discussed practical operational scenarios and shared solutions for handling common technical issues to ensure the system’s stable performance.
Ms. Ta Thi Yen, Deputy Chairwoman of the Committee for Deputy Affairs, emphasized that the effective operation of the election management software system plays an important role in contributing to the success of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
She expressed confidence that with close coordination among the Office of the National Election Council, the National Assembly Office, Viettel Group, and the proactive engagement of election committees at all levels, the assigned tasks would be implemented effectively, ensuring that the election process proceeds safely and in full compliance with regulations.
Based on feedback from localities, Viettel Solutions will continue to refine system features to ensure smooth and efficient operations, also maintain a hotline and technical support channels to promptly guide users and quickly address any issues that may arise during implementation.
According to Nguyen Sy Son, Deputy Director of the Government Solutions Center: “Throughout the election period, the Office of the National Election Council, the National Assembly Office, and Viettel Solutions will maintain 24/7 monitoring, operate technical support channels and hotlines, and remain ready to assist localities in promptly resolving any issues that arise, ensuring the software system operates safely, stably, and smoothly”.
The deployment of the election information management software system is considered an important step in advancing digital transformation in public administration.
The system helps ensure the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of election information, while strengthening connectivity and data integration from the central level to local authorities, thereby supporting the effective organization of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term./.
