Prospects for Vietnam-Malaysia cooperation in public-sector digital transformation
On the sidelines of the 6th ASEAN Digital Ministers’ Meeting (ADGMIN 6), Vietnam Journal of Science and Technology held an interview with General Secretary of Malaysia’s Ministry of Digital Fabian Bigar to discuss regional digital transformation efforts.
Held in Hanoi, ADGMIN 6 brought together ASEAN leaders and policymakers for a series of discussions focused on advancing inclusive digital transformation, narrowing the digital divide, and strengthening regional cooperation.
In this context, the Vietnam Journal of Science and Technology spoke with General Secretary of Malaysia’s Ministry of Digital Fabian Bigar about how ASEAN is seeking to strike a balance between technological innovation and inclusiveness, the expectations of turning political commitments into concrete action, and the growing potential for digital cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia./.
