According to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong, science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as well as private enterprises will become the most important driving force to create a breakthrough to make Vietnam a developed country with an upper-middle-income income.

The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) has just honored the Top 10 and released the Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map for 2025. This event marks the 12th anniversary of the "Top 10 Vietnam Information Technology Enterprises" program.

Born in 2014, the Top 10 Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprises program is consistent with one mission: Select - Honor - Connect excellent, prestigious, and technologically capable enterprises.

After 11 years of organization, the Top 10 excellent digital technology enterprises have selected and honored nearly 800 enterprises; issuing and introducing more than 100,000 printed copies of publications in 3 languages (Vietnamese, English, Japanese) to business organizations in 100 countries and economies around the world within VINASA's international cooperation network. This has facilitated connections with potential customers and partners, opening up numerous international collaboration opportunities.

Science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and private enterprises as drivers for Vietnam’s breakthrough

Over the past 1 decade, with the efforts of VINASA, the Top 10 Excellent Digital Technology Enterprises program in Vietnam has affirmed its position, becoming an annual event with the leading influence and prestige in the Vietnamese digital technology community.

On the occasion of this event, also on the occasion of the upcoming Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day on October 13, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong respectfully recognized and praised the great contributions of the entrepreneurial team, especially Vietnamese digital technology enterprises.

The Deputy Minister also highly appreciated VINASA as one of the associations that has constantly innovated in its approach, always actively seeking and honoring prestigious and typical digital technology enterprises.

The Deputy Minister said that VINASA's launch of VINASA's Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map is probably a very meaningful activity; helping Vietnam's digital technology enterprises clearly determine where they are in the map of Vietnam, bringing a complete picture of the capacity of Vietnam's digital technology industry.

The Deputy Minister emphasized: "We are in a very important period of change, when the country determines that the foundation of national development is science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. This is a pillar of the country in the coming time. In addition, the Party, State and Government also determine that the private economy and private enterprises play a very essential role. At the same time, both of these factors are converging here."

"We are digital technology enterprises, science and technology enterprises, those who are implementing innovation and digital transformation. Among the enterprises here, there are many private enterprises. Perhaps, science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as well as private enterprises will become the most important driving force to create a breakthrough to bring Vietnam to become a developed country with high middle income".

Honoring 169 titles of Top 10 Vietnam 2025 Digital Technology Enterprises

In 2025, Vietnam will enter a new era: the era of booming generative AI, semiconductors, cloud computing, open data, digital security... and the era of the country's rise - factors leading the digital technology industry to enter a new stage of development.

In that context, the Top 10 Vietnam 2025 digital technology enterprises has also been comprehensively restructured: more scientific in criteria, deeper in specialization, more open in connection, more practical in business opportunities.

Accordingly, the Top 10 digital technology enterprises program has been changed from the form of "Voting" to "Evaluation and Ranking" according to VINASA Tech Map - an international standard adjusted for the Vietnamese market. This is the first time that the selection and honoring of excellent enterprises has been closely associated with the development of the digital technology enterprise map.

In particular, only 81 enterprises that have been evaluated and authenticated directly by the Expert Council have been honored in the Top 10 digital technology enterprises.

With the above innovations, after 8 months of implementation, the Top 10 2025 Digital Technology Enterprises program has attracted 107 registered enterprises with 220 applications. Through the evaluation process according to the method of building the Vietnam Tech Map, 169 nominations from 81 typical enterprises have been verified, recognized and honored.

Since then, these enterprises have been positioned in the map with 23 specific fields in 5 major field groups, including: (1) Technology and platform development; (2) Organizational and enterprise management solutions; (3) Solutions to serve the socio-economic sector; (4) Digital services; and (5) Digital technology startups.

According to data, 81 enterprises that were authenticated, evaluated and recognized in this first batch recorded a total revenue of more than 160,000 billion VND (about 6.5 billion USD), accounting for over 40% of the revenue of the entire software and IT services industry in Vietnam, with a total of more than 132,000 engineers.

After the announcement and honoring ceremony, the In-Depth Report for each field and the Publication of the Top 10 Vietnam 2025Digital Technology Enterprises were published in 3 languages: Vietnamese, English and Japanese.

The Report and publication will be made available on the website top10ict.com and VINASA's website at www.vinasa.org.vn; simultaneously, they will be introduced to over 5,000 application agencies, organizations, and enterprises nationwide and to potential partners both domestically and internationally in 100 countries and economies globally, with the expectation of connecting and opening up new cooperation and investment opportunities for the participating enterprises.
